Sports fixtures and reports
Rugby: WGS U15 (22) v Repton U15 (19) Early in the game it became apparent that the WGS starting XV were a stronger and more experienced team and took an early and commanding lead, and by half time had scored 5 tries and 1 conversion without reply (score 22-0). This provided an opportunity to give a number of other boys some further match and different positional experience to further develop their skills. Repton responded accordingly and came into the game more during the second half scoring 3 tries and 2 conversions. This made for an enjoyable and competitive game for both sides with WGS hanging on for a 22-19 victory whilst displaying good skill, sportsmanship and determination in achieving this victory. JPR
