The site works in two ways; if you add your child/children’s details and press “Get Uniform” you will be able to see a full list of items required for your child’s year group. Alternatively if you know what items you require you can go into “View all Wolverhampton Grammar Uniform” and select the items from the Category sections. Once a size is selected the price will appear.

Uniform

Welcome to Wolverhampton Grammar School’s Uni-cycle message board.

Uni-cycle is an on-line forum where parents can post nearly new or unwanted pieces of Uni-form which can then be re-Cycled to other parents looking to exchange items of their own.

For example, if your son or daughter has a jumper that is in good condition but doesn’t fit or is no longer required, you can post that item onto the message board, giving a brief description so that families who are looking for such an item can make contact and take it off your hands. At the same time you can then make a request for any items you may be looking for in the hope that someone out there in the WGS community will have one gathering dust at the back of the cupboard.

We should stress that Uni-cycle is very much a forum where parents can exchange items that are no longer required. No items will be posted for sale and no money should be requested by any users. This is a ‘swap-shop’ aimed at offering the opportunity for parents to exchange good quality items of uniform and sports gear that are - for whatever reason – surplus to requirements.

Though the site is hosted by WGS, parents can if they choose, contact each other directly in order to carry out exchanges facilitated through the Uni-cycle message board. WGS will however act as a moderator so that all messages will be approved before being posted live on to the site. Users will have the choice of placing their email address on to the message as a direct contact point, or using Uni-cycle as a contact for receiving messages.

We very much hope parents will use the Uni-cycle service as a means of sharing and swapping items of school wear and sports kit – items which as we all know can be expensive.

As new venture, several items have already been donated to Uni-cycle, so if you are currently looking for any items, please take a look through the itinerary below.
