As part of National Careers Week, our Year 9 and Year 10 students visited Skills Street in Sheffield to explore the wide range of careers within the aviation and engineering industries, helping them see how their classroom learning connects to real-world opportunities and encouraging them to think ambitiously about their future career pathways.

During the visit, students took part in a series of interactive activities and simulations designed to demonstrate how different roles contribute to the operation of the aviation sector. From engineering and aircraft maintenance to aviation management and logistics, students discovered just how many career pathways exist within this dynamic and rapidly developing industry.
Visits like this play an important role in helping students connect their learning to future career possibilities while inspiring them to explore the many opportunities available within STEM industries.
